Production complete, final preparations for shipping begin

Hey Backers,

We’re almost there! Production is now complete, and our manufacturer is carefully assembling our final product for shipping to our warehouse. We expect to receive REBEL by the end of this week and start shipping no later than next week.

Check out this video of our workers hand assembling everything start to finish, including the batteries, LED housings, body, bearings, testing the led chip modes, and finally, spinning our beautiful spinners on the table with a timer.

 
It’s a long process but we are meticulous with each step to assure the quality of our products for our backers. Thank you again for your patience as we wrapped up production. We’ll begin shipping immediately upon receiving and inspecting your REBEL spinners.

For now, look out for a 48-hour BackerKit email notice to give you one last chance to update your shipping information. Please make sure your address is up-to-date, as we will be importing your information from BackerKit into our shipping system on Thursday.

Production continues - CNC machining video and photos

Hey Backers,

Production is moving along and we are very happy with our current progress. Take a look at the CNC machining of the REBEL bodies:

The magnets have already arrived to our warehouse. As we await the arrival of REBEL, we have been testing the magnets around the office for fun, basically securing random items to various metal surfaces. All other production elements, including the batteries, microlight housing, and secret bonus item, are moving forward on schedule. We’ll continue to keep you updated as we prepare to start deliveries in early June.
